What Happens When You Bring the Parking Industry Together? Apparently, a lot!
Indianapolis played host to this year’s NPA Tech Connect & Expo, bringing together parking professionals from across the industry for a week of conversations, connections, new ideas, and a glimpse into what’s next for parking.
For our team, the event was packed with memorable moments. We had the chance to reconnect with customers, meet new faces, share the latest innovations from Get My Parking, and join some exciting discussions around AI and the future of parking operations.

AVA Stole the Spotlight
If there was one thing people wanted to see at our booth, it was AVA – our 24/7 customer support agent. In fact, one of the most common questions we heard throughout the event was simple:
“Can I talk to AVA?” And they did.
Attendees stopped by throughout the week to chat with AVA, test her capabilities, ask questions, and see firsthand how she resolves issues at the lane. By the end of the event, AVA had become one of the busiest members of our team.
Sharing Our Vision for AI-Powered Parking
The conversations around AI didn’t stop at our booth.
During our session on AI-Powered Parking, the Get My Parking team took the stage to discuss how AI is shaping the future of parking. The session brought together industry professionals for an engaging discussion on where the industry is headed and the opportunities AI is creating across the parking journey.
The energy in the room, the questions from attendees, and the conversations that continued afterward made it one of our favorite moments from NPA 2025.
Updates on ExpressLane and More
Our booth stayed busy with demos, questions, and conversations as attendees explored what modern parking operations can look like. Alongside AVA, we had the chance to showcase ExpressLane and share some of our latest innovations.
Visitors got a look at new features and learned how these tools would create smoother parking experiences.
Pickleball Paddles, Golf Clubs, and Plenty of Laughs
We took our conversations beyond the expo hall and made so many memories.
From pickleball courts and golf courses to dinners around Indianapolis, NPA gave the Get My Parking team plenty of opportunities to unwind, catch up, and enjoy time together. Let’s just say there were some impressive shots, some questionable ones, and enough laughs to keep the stories going long after the event ended.

As we packed up the booth, we took home a little more than we arrived with. A few new stories, plenty of memorable moments, and enough laughs to last until the next event.
For a few days, Tech Connect gave us the chance to step away from our screens, catch up with familiar faces, meet new ones, and be part of the conversations shaping the industry.
Now, as Team GMP starts preparing for the next stops on the calendar, NPA 2026 is already on the horizon.
