The theme for International Women’s Day this year is #breakthebias.

‘Bias’ here refers to gender stereotypes that restrict both women and men in their daily lives. For example, a common gender bias is that women are expected to cook, clean and look after the children, while men are expected to be the primary breadwinners. To encourage both women and men to #breakthebias they face in their daily lives is a sure way to defy gender norms and create a more equitable world for all human beings.

At Get My Parking, we try to make the workplace an equitable space free of gender-based prejudices. This year, we asked Team GMP how they defy gender prejudices and #breakthebias in their daily lives.
