With 20 locations in 8 cities, 91Springboard is one of the leading players in India providing co-working office spaces on rent. It is also an early entrant, having started in 2012, and raised $20 million in funding so far. There are over 2000 start-ups that work out of their properties. They don’t consider themselves a real-estate company and their aim has always been on providing an enriching community experience to their tenants, focussing on value additions that take away all hassle of an office space. As part of this endeavor, they were willing to experiment with new-age technologies to help automate season parking pass management for all of their season parking pass holders. So they recently collaborated with us to install the latest in smart parking technology at their Koramangala, Bangalore facility.
We are the smart parking market leader in South Asia processing 2 Million transactions per month. Our GMP platform empowers parking operators and real estate managers to increase revenue by giving a modern digital consumer experience in a plug-and-play model.
This ready-to-deploy solution is made possible because the interoperable platform connects and integrates all existing parking equipment on a single cloud-based backend, thereby reducing the cost and time required for a custom solution. The latest offering which is powered by the GMP platform, branded as GMP Enable, is able to automate parking sessions of all kinds for a ticketless, cashless experience. This same product is installed by GMP for the 91Springboard project.
The 91Springboard property in Koramangala, Bangalore has multiple tenants who use the underground parking space. The very nature of a co-working space means that tenants are not guaranteed to be long-term. Any tenant may discontinue their co-working membership on any day. Hence all the property access made available to that tenant, including parking access, has to be revoked immediately.
The GMP Enable solves this problem effectively by providing all-season parking pass management on a web dashboard. Though GMP Enable is designed to interface with any type of access control like NFC, QR code, BLE, WiFi, etc the 91Springboard project involves an RFID access control mechanism that controls the entry/exit boom barriers. Nothing is hard-wired in this entire implementation, all connections are on a secure pre-existing IP network. The benefit of this design is that GMP Enable can utilize existing infrastructure thereby reducing costs.
“Although there are only 2 gates in the 91Springboard parking, the GMP Enable is designed to locally handle more than 200 gates using a single WiFi router for connection. This kind of forward-looking, flexible technology is what is desired by large office chains like 91Springboard. The nature of office space is changing with a huge burst in co-working office places around the world. With the success of the 91Springboard project, we are now positively aiming to deploy GMP Enable across all the leading co-working spaces.”, says Rasik Pansare, Co-founder, and CMO of Get My Parking.
